Hello, my dermies. Welcome to the Aesthetic Report, a podcast by Dermoscope. I am managing editor of the Mac and producer of The Pod, Dorian Reyes. Thank you for tuning in to this mini episode where I catch you up on all things Dermoscope. I'm gonna keep this episode brief because I don't want to step on the toes of an upcoming episode this month. Spoiler alert, you're gonna get a lot more of me than you may have bargained for. It's my favorite time of the year, November, specifically Scorpio season. I am just a few days from my mid-30s, and I have nothing to show for it but a sunscreen and peptide addiction. That's not true. Well, that's not entirely true. Anyway, I hope you're finishing your year off with the Big Bang. And if not, there's always 2026.

Estheticians’ Choice Awards Voting

First up on the agenda is the one and only Esthetician's Choice Award, also known as the ACAs. This is essentially our Reader's Choice Awards, and official voting for next year's winners is happening right now. There are literally dozens and dozens of categories, including the best serums, masks, treatment protocols, and even pros. You can vote every day this month. The winners will be announced this spring in our 13th special issue called The Guide. You can find the voting link in the episode description to ensure your favorites win this year. Next up is

our special 50th anniversary issue. While we have definitely been celebrating all year long, November is one of our last hurrahs for the year. So instead of the generic educational articles you've come to expect from the oldest aesthetics magazine in the country, you'll find champagne toasts, snapshots from the grandest party of the year, the products and classes that will take your career to its 50th anniversary, and lots and lots of gold. Like I said, I don't want to give too much away. So if you're not getting the print magazine already, you should definitely subscribe today so you can receive the December issue because that will showcase the winner of our annual cover contest winner. But at the very least, you should check out the November digital issue through the link in the episode description. We brought out an old cover from 1983 and gave it a modern refresh. Our Instagram followers have been loving it, so I hope you will too. We have so much planned this month to keep the celebrations going.
